Wildflowers
WildflowersAt any given time of year, wildflowers can be found blossoming in the Royal National Park. The passing of the seasons bear new surprises in the native flora and fauna, which are perpetually changing and adapting to the environment. The wattle has been proclaimed as the national floral emblem as there is always a species flowering somewhere in Australia.

The Royal National Park has an abundance of wattle blooming all year round. In winter, Banksias and Gymea lilies, the largest lily in the world, are prominant. Spring sees an explosion of heath flowers, many of which can be found well into the summer.
